Its back on again! did i mention i like good food alot. ive always like going to the nice places to eat. its good to treat yourself to good gourmet completly over expensive food at least once in a while. im lucky this only comes around once in a while.
In the last couple of years that ive participated in it, ive noticed that the same restaurants generally keep coming back every year. thats not to say that the menus arent fantastic and different every time, nor does it mean i have a big enough bank account to go to more than 2 restauarants per year.
but the places ive been whether for winter/summer licious have been excellent.
Canoe - i went when i was in school still, i could only afford the wild mushroom soup. which was fantastic! the time i was there during the lightening storm was pretty cool too
the next time i went the food was excellent and the dessert was out of this world molten lava cake.. i dont know what they put in it but i really would have eaten another, or gone in the kitchen and taken more and run.
Auberge du Pommier - the food rocked!
