Christmas Travel! Paris And England Oh My!

So believe it or not I actually will be traveling to Europe for the first time in 10 years ! to visit my aunt and my cousin. I am greatly looking forward to the time away. However since I haven't been a full time employee for very long I may have to take unpaid leave. I'm thinking it will be worth it, it has to be its Farkin Paris!

I've made a number of observations on booking travel to Paris and London.

for one, staying in Paris is cheaper than staying in London, and I'm not entirely sure why. A friend of mine, his parents went away to Paris for one week... $1100 dollars, including airfare and I think continental breakfast, they went in October which is a really good time to travel in Europe cause its past summer and not quite the holiday season yet.

the only problem so far has bee booking the chunnel tickets and the combined hotel. Every time I've tried to purchase the combination of eurostar ticket and hotel stay, the euro star website crashes, as well when you fill out an account you can no longer book both the hotel and train, which makes me strongly suspect that its just a scam for eurostar to get people to book. But it doesn't matter I ended up booking the train tickets and getting a hotel for cheaper than what was being offered on eurostar.com by going to www.hotels.ca.

I still have to book the London part of the trip but that shouldn't be to hard, ill probably do that by my next paycheque :p
